Water Testing & Treatment

Feel good about your water. Have it tested and treated so you know if your drinking water is safe and that no harmful minerals are damaging your clothes or property. Proper water safety starts with understanding the current quality of your water.

Rainwater Harvesting

We’ve seen an incredible spike in rainwater collection and its use across Vancouver Island. Water harvesting via rainwater collection is a valuable supplemental water source to care for plants and gardens during dry months or to preserve the well water supply.

Well Flow Testing

Flow testing is used to determine the capacity/performance of the well.  It measures the maximum continuous rate of flow (gallons/minute) that can be drawn from the well, without risk of damage to pumping systems and the well itself.  Flow rate is influenced by the depth of the well, the static water level, and the recovery rate.  Recovery rate is difficult to predict without flow testing as it relates to the underground structure of the aquifer, the sources of water ingress, and geological structure that water flows through to reach the well.  Flow testing is important for new wells and when there are changes in how the well is usedespecially if the well will serve multiple households or support critical business operations (i.e. hotels, restaurants, agriculture, etc.).
